Shannon Oelkers

Owner of Integrity Environmental

Shannon founded Integrity Environmental in 2010 to assist Alaskan companies with achieving environmental regulatory compliance and best management practices. She holds a bachelor's degree in biological science and a master's degree in community development from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Shannon has over 10 years inspecting and auditing bulk tank farm operations on both the regulatory side and in the private sector. Lead Inspector

C. House hold a degree in mechanical engineering technology and has certifications from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, Steel Tank Institute, and American Petroleum Institute. She is also qualified with American Society for Nondestructive Testing in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT II), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT I), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT I and UTT). She works as a certified tank and pipeline inspector and has brought her wide knowledge base to IE Classroom and helped develop many courses.

Richard Oelkers

Health & Safety Specialist

Richard is a graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, holding a degree in Emergency Services. He has worked in volunteer and paid positions in the fire service since 1993. For the past 18 years he has worked as a safety specialist in the upstream and midstream oil industry. He is recognized as a Certified Safety Specialist by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

Adam Kayser

Safety Instructor

Adam Kayser has worked in the Oil and Gas industry for over a decade. Starting out working for a marine diving and salvage company, he has worked in the inlets, bays, and harbors of Alaska, getting to know the places and their people. His current field is Emergency Management with a focus in Arctic Oil Spills. This work has led him across Alaska, Hawaii, and the Gulf of Mexico supporting various companies in their response to oil spills and in subsequent clean ups. Adam Served as a subject matter expert for the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and the Shell Kulluk rig grounding off Kodiak. In recent years he has supported North Slope oil companies in preparing their workforce to respond with the Incident Command System and developing training curriculum to meet company and regulatory demands.

Rosie Nethercott

Environmental Consultant

Rosie graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor's of Science in biological sciences. She has worked for Integrity Environmental for four years and has over seven years working in the oil and gas industry in Alaska. She brings her technical knowledge of environmental regulations and presents them in a way that they are easily understood by her students.
